The 15th edition opens up to accessories and sportswear: same participation costs as the previous edition for those who confirm by 28 February
There are numerous novelties that 2023 will bring for Moda Makers, the international fair for small and medium-sized fashion companies. First of all, however, comes confirmation from ModenaFiere that the next edition will be held, as planned, in Modena in May 2023, with Collections for Spring/Summer 2024.
The first of the novelties is that the duration of the event will be two days (as opposed to the previous three), therefore from the morning of Tuesday 9 to the evening of Wednesday 10 May. This decision was made taking into account the flows of visitors at previous editions, flows that are concentrated mainly on the opening day and the following day, thus making it possible to concentrate business moments in two days.
Another important aspect is that, although Moda Makers remains focused on women’s fashion, it nevertheless broadens the product categories that can be found at the fair, thus opening up to accessories and sportswear.
Last but not least, the fair rewards those who register in good time: for all companies that confirm their participation by 28 February, in fact, the costs will remain unchanged compared to the last edition in 2022, while for those who arrive after that date, the cost will be different, and will take into account the general increase due to higher management costs.
This is the comment of the Managing Director of ModenaFiere, Marco Momoli: “Barring unforeseeable international conditions beyond our control, we believe that the conditions are in place for Moda Makers to return to growth, both in the number of exhibitors and visitors. These are signs of optimism that do not come from nowhere, but were provided to us, after the November edition, by the companies themselves who participated, who returned to see buyers in the corridors of the fair that they had not seen for some time, and even recorded better results than they had expected. The various novelties that we presented were obviously shared with the entire operating table, from the institutional players to the companies, and go in the direction of making the event more and more effective and participatory. We believe that Moda Makers still has a lot to give Italian companies, and is strategic for the Modena area.”
Moda Makers is organised by ModenaFiere, in collaboration with Consorzio Expo Modena, and promoted by the Carpi Fashion System project, which includes CNA, LAPAM-Confartigianato, Confindustria Emilia, Chamber of Commerce of Modena, Fondazione CR Carpi, Municipality of Carpi, Democenter-SIPE Foundation and ForModena.
